Sketches of The Woodman pub

Pubs have always been a subject matter thats interested me. When their crammed full of people talking and drinking its buzzing like a hive of activity. Ive always toyed with the idea of doing a few paintings of my local but until now I never really took the time to sit down in there and sketch but to be honest I feel as though the sketches were successful and I think im going to make a few more leading up to a large oil painting.
